2026 Nutcracker Auditions

Nutcracker Auditions Process:

Dancers must be registered to audition no later than September 18. No walk-in registrations will be taken on audition day. Dancers will be auditioning for the following roles: Party Children, Mice, Angels, Bakers, Dutch Children, Cookies, & Arabian Girls. All Auditioning Dancers MUST be current students in NFB Académie or Community School and 4th Grade to 13 years of age. Auditions for NFB’s The Nutcracker will take place on:

  • Saturday, Sept. 19: 10:30 - 11:30 am 4th & 5th Grade (Elementary School)
  • Saturday, Sept. 19: 12:00 pm - 1:16 pm 6th - 8th Grade (Middle School)

After completing the audition form, you will be redirected to a payment page to pay the $80 registration fee. Please note that NFB incurs processing fees from our credit card vendor when you register online. To minimize expenses, we kindly ask that you consider registering and paying by check. PARENT INFORMATION

I understand the following applicable policies related to participating in the Nutcracker audition process:

• The $80 audition fee is non-refundable.

• Dancers must be able to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals are held at NFB Studios after school or on the weekends beginning or after Oct. 1. A schedule will be provided after casting, but dates and times are subject to change.

• Dancers must be able to perform in all performances.

• Audition and rehearsal dress code includes full ballet attire, hair in a bun, and no jewelry.

Additionally, I hereby hold harmless and covenant not to prosecute Northwest Florida Ballet, the School, or the instructors in the case of injury suffered by me or my family member while on the premises or in the care of NFB Faculty/Staff.
