2026-2027 Season
The 2026-2027 Northwest Florida Ballet season begins September 11-12 with the Emerging Choreographers' Project Blackbox, an intimate production at the NFB Studios (Sybil Smith Lebhertz Center for Dance Education) that showcases the creativity and artistry of the next generation of dancers and choreographers. The season continues November 20-22 as NFB returns to the Mattie Kelly Arts Center for its 47th annual production of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker. The season concludes March 6-7 with the timeless romance and breathtaking beauty of Swan Lake, bringing another unforgettable year of exceptional dance performances to a spectacular close.

Emerging Choreographers Project Blackbox

Celebrate the holiday season with Northwest Florida Ballet's 47th annual production of The Nutcracker. Featuring more than 140 performers, including internationally acclaimed guest artists and over 100 local children with live accompaniment by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, led by David Ott, this cherished holiday tradition continues to delight audiences of all ages with timeless storytelling, spectacular dancing and unforgettable music.

Northwest Florida Ballet concludes its 2026-2027 season with the timeless masterpiece Swan Lake. Set to Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score, reimagined and staged by NFB Artistic Director Todd Eric Allen with additional choreography by Dorothy Daniels Lister after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. This beloved classical ballet tells a powerful story of love, sacrifice and redemption through breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes and extraordinary performances. From the graceful corps de ballet to the legendary Black Swan, this iconic production provides a spectacular finale to the season.
